CMC’s NFPA Throwline Bag Set combines the CMC Rescue NFPA Throwline* with our economical pack cloth bags. The 8-mm diameter line allows for a very compact throw bag.

Our CMC ProSeries RIT Line is 100% aramid fiber for a high level of survivability when used during structural search & rescue. The unique construction of this product makes it easy to stuff into an Escape Line Bag or turnout coat pocket, yet is firm enough to be felt against the floor when following it in low visibilty conditions, even while wearing gloves. Developed for swiftwater rescue technicians needing the versatility of a throwline with a larger diameter for a better grip, the SRT Throwline is supple enough to fit into a compact throw bag, but has extra strength and is easy to grip when setting tension diagonals or boat lines. The polypropylene core and protective nylon sheath combination produces a strong, supple, highly visible river rescue rope that floats. Rope is sold by the foot.

The most important attribute of a cord used for Prusik hitches is consistency in handling, diameter and strength. Once you have determined the Prusik hitch that works best on your host rope, you want the same performance every time you replace it. CMC Rescue Prusik Cord has the right balance of suppleness for reliable activation, but is not so soft that it wears out rapidly.

We’ve been using our one-inch flat web in our rescue classes for several years and it’s proven to be an excellent performer. While not all flat webs will hold knots securely, the CMC Rescue Flat Webbing has been specifically selected for the suppleness necessary to allow knots to be set securely. Flat web also tends to be easier to untie after a heavy load than the softer tubular web. While the flat web is bulkier than the tubular, it does provide a significantly higher strength.

This chest harness turns the Lifesaver Victim Harness into a full-body evacuation harness for vertical lifts during confined space operations or wherever upper body support is needed. It’s easy to attach to the patient under all conditions, and its padding provides added comfort. Pelvic harness and carabiner sold separately.
