Years of development, testing and fine tuning has made our Prusik cord a preferred choice by rescue schools, agencies and rescuers alike. Our Sewn-Loop Prusiks offer unmatched performance—with strength equivalent to a tied Prusik loop, just without the cumbersome knot. The factory-sewn SecureStitchTM is covered with durable clear shrink tubing that allows regular inspection and helps protect the stitching for longer life.

Our new Prusik-minding pulley (PMP) is ideal for high anchor points or tripod use. The rotating swivel aligns the rope with the direction of the pull. Its stainless steel sheave can be used with either rescue rope or wire cable. By combining the swivel with the pulley, overall system length is minimized, increasing travel. The patented pivoting side plate allows the rope to be quickly inserted.

The swivel double pulley features aluminum sheaves and a becket.

Made of tough CORDURA® nylon to protect your SCBA mask, this protector features a hook-and-loop closure on the top to keep the bag sealed, but allow quick access. Web handles double as pull tabs for easy opening and can be used to hang the bag from a hook or carabiner. The Protector is available in a basic model or with a fleece liner that is gentle on facemask lenses.

Designed for rescue teams who need to mount a rescue litter on the outside of their response vehicle, our cover reduces weather exposure to the litter—and any equipment stored with it—from rain and UV. Oversized to make removal of the litter easy and to allow room to store bulky items, such as blankets, pads, and litter shields, the cover is constructed of exterior-grade vinyl material.

This fully adjustable litter harness intended for use with a rigid litter features parachute buckles on each of the four legs. This allows them to be adjusted independently, so the litter can be quickly and easily set at the best angle for condition or patient comfort. A heavy duty O-ring is used for the top tie-in point and a 10-ft (3-m) tender line and a nylon storage bag are included. Carabiners not included.

Faster to use than tying a harness out of web, the Low-Angle Litter Harness fits on the outside of the litter, delivering greater stability than connecting carabiners directly to the railing. Made of our 1-3/4 in (44 mm) flat web with a tensile strength of 44.5 kN (10,000 lbf), the center strap provides an adjustable backup to the other legs. The two outside straps attach just below the railing to the cross bar on the sides of the litter.

Designed for high-angle rescues where minimum weight is important, such as backcountry rescues or air operations, this harness has legs that adjust with a cam buckle for easily placing the patient in the most comfortable position. Color-coded legs aid fast set-up. The system ropes can be attached directly to the 54 kN (12,139 lbf) Delta Quick Link (included) or connected in with carabiners. A 10-ft (3-m) 12.5 mm tender line and nylon storage bag are included. Carabiners not included.

For many years the accepted method for securing a patient in a litter was improvised internal and external lashings using one-inch tubular web. Critical patient-packaging time could be lost and often the finished lashing was either too tight or too loose. Looking for a quicker and more secure way, we developed our Patient Tie-In System after testing a variety of prototypes in CMC Rescue School classes.

Featuring StratLoad™ Attachment Points. A complete re-thinking of the classic Stokes military-style litters, our Rescue Litter features a full one-inch diameter top rail to make the litter easier to handle when carried for extended periods. Durathene™ netting eliminates cuts and scrapes caused by broken wires. Back support is molded, highdensity polyethylene for greater durability.

Tapered with StratLoad™ Attachment Points. Amazingly strong and light, lift our ultra-lightweight Titanium Litter with one hand and you’ll have to have one. Built to the same specifications and dimensions as our stainless litters, the titanium model is lighter by 18 pounds. Like the stainless steel models, the titanium models have Durathene™ netting, molded high-density polyethylene back support and come with four litter straps.

Our Litter Shield attaches to a mount on the litter rail that allows the shield to pivot and nest inside the litter. A quick release pin allows the shield to be completely removed if necessary. The lower profile makes storage easier, but does not provide as much clearance for the patient’s face as the Litter Shield Plus (see below). Each shield requires a railing clamp.

Manufactured by Skedco, makers of the Sked® Stretcher, the Sked-EVAC tripod features aircraft-grade, gold-anodized aluminum legs and a cast-aluminum head. Three heavy-duty rigging anchors, located in the center, have exceptionally large holes for easy attachment. Legs adjust in 5-in (127-mm) increments for a maximum height of 10 ft (3 m) and a minimum length for transport of 7 ft (2.1 m).

Our All-Weather Rope Log contains 20 rope log forms on heavy Rite-in-the-Rain™ paper. Ample space is provided to document critical lifeline information and log use and inspection. The cover includes instructions on using a rope log and on inspecting and washing lifelines. The loose-leaf, three-holepunched format allows the log to be used as a stand alone document or to be included in equipment binders.

Recently revised, the CMC Confined Space Entry & Rescue Manual is the textbook for confined space rescue courses taught by the CMC Rescue School. It is the official textbook for the California State Fire Marshal’s state certified confined space rescue courses, and the training manual of choice for fire departments and industrial rescue teams nationwide.

The companion Field Guide to the Revised 4th Edition of the CMC Rope Rescue Manual features water-and tear-proof cover and pages to increase durability. Only 4 inches (10 cm) wide, the waterproof guide fits BDU and uniform pockets, so you can take it with you… anywhere! 132 pages. Printed in USA.

Now in its fourth edition, this guide covers the broad spectrum of rescue incidents to which firefighters respond. Separation of the skills by Awareness, Operational, and Technician levels helps users perform within their training level. Checklists help organize planning, making sure all the critical elements are addressed. Printed on water and tear-proof paper. 160 pages.

A superior handling rescue rope, New England Ropes KM III static kernmantle rope features composite construction, with the continuous filament polyester sheath braided over a continuous nylon fiber core. Featuring a weight-balanced construction with the sheath and the core each representing half the total weight, KM III is torque-balanced to eliminate any spin during a rappel.

Based on the proven design of New England KM III Rescue Rope, this low-stretch 8.5-mm kernmantle escape line provides outstanding performance with its polyester sheath covering a nylon core. It’s large enough for easy handling, while still compact when stuffed in a bag or pocket. The bright orange color with yellow stripe provides high visibility. Rope is sold by the foot. Please contact customer support for maximum length available.

Made of tough 1,000-denier CORDURA® nylon, our proprietary Rope & Equipment Bags with multi-loop straps keep your rope rescue kit together, ready to go with everything in its place. The padded backpack-type shoulder straps make a fully loaded bag easier to carry. Your hardware stays together so that it can be pulled out of the pocket before you deploy the Rope & Equipment Bag as you would an ordinary rope bag.

An Original CMC Rescue Design, and Still a Favorite! The Pro Pocket is designed to carry your accessory equipment — runners, prusiks, trauma shears, gloves, etc. — securely attached to your harness instead of in a Stuff Bag hanging from your rescue harness or in pants pockets, where the contents sink below the harness’s leg straps, which can be difficult to access.

Attaches to a #2 or #3 Rope Bag. The only pack that carries a rescue system ready to deploy, the System-Pac stores the hardware already set up for the system and attached to your Anchor Plate. A unique CMC design feature is a back pocket that not only holds an Ultra-Pro 4 Edge Protector, but also uses the edge protector as a stiffener, making the pack easier to carry when loaded.

Made of tough 1,000-denier CORDURA® nylon with padded sides, the Truck Cache holds all the rigging hardware needed to set up a main line and a belay in a fold-open case that fits efficiently in a truck compartment. Our redesign includes improvements for organizing either MPD™ or traditional rescue systems. The Cache looks like a briefcase but has hide-away shoulder straps so it can be carried as a backpack.
