This lightweight (only 2.9 lbs.), compact design Personal Fall Limiter is an affordable alternative to shock absorbing lanyards. The worker has up to 9 ft. of working capacity. The quick acting, high-strength stainless steel braking system arrest free falls. Attaches directly to the harness D-ring for use as a personal fall limiter or use as a retractable lifeline. The unit is available with a variety of integral anchorage connectors. Webbing is protected with Teflon HT that provides superior protection from water, oil, grease, dirt and grime. There is is no annual recertification required with the Scorpion. A visual load indicator indicates that the unit needs to be taken out of service. Complies with OSHA, ANSI, and CSA standards.
